Salem’s Lott Scary Hot Sauces was founded by Jeff Salem from Brampton, Ontario. Jeff is a hot sauce maker and a professional musician who has toured and performed in over 70 countries. While touring the world as a musician, he also searched for the secret of a perfect hot sauce.

Jeff wanted to create a healthier hot sauce since most of the hot sauces he came across were full of chemicals, sugar, and sodium and were too watery. He had the idea to compliment the pepper mostly with fruits and vegetables. The ingredients used in Salem’s Lott hot sauces are all natural and the sauces are all made at Rootham’s Gourmet in Guelph, Ontario.
