Strub’s pickles have been made in Canada since 1929. However, the company was acquired by Whyte Foods in 2012 after a bankruptcy. Whyte Foods is a Canadian food producer based in Quebec. As Whyte took over the production of Strub’s pickles the production moved from Brantford to Quebec.

Whyte also has long roots and started as a small family business in 1892 with the goal of importing authentic fine foods to Montreal. Today, Whyte Foods is still a family-owned Canadian company committed to bringing its customers fresh flavours that reflect the rich history of Canada. Whyte Foods has a diverse food portfolio that includes items such as olives, sauces, and salad dressings in addition to Strub’s pickles.
