Valérie Dumaine is a Canadian clothing brand focused on slow fashion. The designer, Valérie Dumaine, has been active in the fashion scene for over 20 years. After spending time in London, England, and Berlin, Germany, she returned to Montreal in 2003 to launch her first clothes collection. In 2004, her first collection was in stores, first in Ottawa and Montreal, and then across Canada.
All Valérie Dumaine garments are designed in Toronto and manufactured in small batches in Montreal by the same contractors the company has been using for more than 15 years.
