Yummies in a Jar is a company based in Baysville, Ontario and was founded by Lynn Murden in 1992. After graduating from Hotel Restaurant Management and years of travelling and working in numerous restaurants, Lynn moved to Muskoka. It was there that she combined her love of cooking with the desire to work for herself and Yummies in a Jar was born. Yummies began with Lynn selling a dozen jars of Strawberry Rhubarb jam at a local festival and the business quickly grew to include two of her own gift stores while supplying a wide range of Ontario Retail stores & restaurants with Yummies and establishing a flourishing on line business.

Despite the growth and 33 years in business, Lynn and her seasonal staff of 5 still prepares Yummiest a Jar in her home based, separate commercial kitchen using local products wherever possible. All products are still made in small batches to ensure the finest taste and quality available.
