MAXgreen believes that all homeowners deserve a stress-free renovation experience without ever having to worry about expensive future water leaks! We educate our customers to ensure that they can protect their most important investment – the home that keeps their family warm and dry. We specialize in LEAK-PROOF window, door and siding renovations that not only protect but add value to homes.

Tell us about yourself?

Not knowing what I wanted to do, I went to school for business and fell in love with the idea of business in general. I ended up in the window and door industry and kept hearing horror stories about bad contractors and wanted to affect positive change in the industry. I started off by educating homeowners about how to protect their homes, and that ended up leading to many referrals and awards over the years.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Don’t rush hiring decisions. I have made some decisions based on an aggressive growth plan that ended up costing the company a lot of time and money. It’s always best to be “slow to hire, quick to fire”.

What problem does your business solve?

We are working hard at bringing a “White-Collar Professionalism” to a “Blue-Collar Industry”. Our goal is to change the experience and perception of working with a contractor. We don’t believe that renovations should be stressful, messy, or inconvenient. We also believe in honest and regular communication so there are no surprises and everybody is happy at the end of the projects.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

We want to protect homeowners from expensive water leaks. Improper installation of windows, doors, and siding can lead to a lot of rot within walls and very expensive repairs to homes. This can eat away at savings for hard-earned vacations or early retirement plans in some cases.

What is your magic sauce?

As mentioned above, we focus on an education-based approach to offering our services and providing a professional and friendly experience that is second to none. A lot of salespeople are high pressure, but we want to make the process very easy and comfortable for our customers and ensure they fully understand the value we provide. We focus on a long-term solution for home renovations, not just a band-aid solution like a lot of our competitors. We are not looking to be the largest exterior renovation company, just the most respected and trusted one.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We will continue to grow at a level that allows us to help more customers every year but without sacrificing the quality and customer service we are known for. We built our business based on referrals, online reviews, and customer service awards. We will never forget those who have supported us. We also want to continue giving back to the community, with the goal of hitting $1,000,000 of total donations to worthy charities and causes.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Mental health is the biggest challenge I think any human can face. The human mind is the most powerful thing in the World. I have worked very hard on my own mental health to overcome some past traumas and employ many others who have also done the same. We have since partnered up with a local Counselling Centre to be able to help more people who may not otherwise be able to access the mental health they require.
