Tell us about yourself?
I grew up in the hospitality software industry, watching my dad develop our first product in our basement to help local restaurants. His work became a staple of our family conversations, and my brother and I started contributing in middle school by building menus and organizing cables.
As I progressed through various roles – from special projects to business development and then into the head of strategy and operations – I eventually became president after my dad stepped out of the day-to-day. I now oversee company strategy while my brother focuses on our strategic accounts and enterprise clients.
Silverware has always been a family-run business centred on meaningful relationships, and we are committed to honouring that legacy while driving innovation in the hospitality sector.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
I would give myself two pieces of advice:
- Trust in your abilities. Don’t doubt yourself. You spent 10-plus years helping the business grow, and that experience will help you reach new heights.
- Focus on the key markets where Silverware has an unfair advantage. Don’t let the other market segments and client types distract and detract from the key focus.

- Focus on thrilling our clients and continue helping them truly curate the guest experience. This will come with investment in new technologies, AI and automation, and business intelligence.
