If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

We expanded into retail during the pandemic. Never underestimate the length of the closures.

What problem does your business solve?

Liberty offers locally made high-quality items. We are one of the very few that offer this in Canada. We also help brands with their merchandising needs by offering design, graphics, trending, manufacturing, and web-stores

What is the inspiration behind your business?

The business was inspired by the lack of variety and quality in the industry. Consumers want to make more conscious choices, but there are very few brands that offer this.

What is your magic sauce?

Our magic sauce is keeping ahead of the trends so the items that you buy are timeless and very much on the cutting edge of fashion in an elegant way.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our vision is to grow the brand both here in Canada and in the US and expand into Europe as well.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Manufacturing in Canada is very challenging. There aren’t too many young people who want to work in the industry in a labour capacity. We struggle to find skilled labour and materials that are eco-friendly and durable.

How can people get involved?

We’d love to work with similar brands and merchants who put the environment first. We can be reached at sales@libertyclothing.com.
