Ashley-Ann Lawrie

We specialize in one on one personal training. Our mission is for everyone to realize their full health potential. Our values are personal trainers who care.

Tell us about yourself?

I’ve been in the fitness industry since I was 15, working as a front desk associate in a large box gym. Now, I am part owner of FFF, which specializes strictly in one on one training. I’ve always wanted to be in a field that could really change lives, and I’m grateful I get to help people live their best healthy lives.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Perfection doesn’t exist. Stay the course, and trust the process

What problem does your business solve?

We help people find love for working out again with personalized and customized training suited for them. We provide them with lifestyle habits to last them a lifetime.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

I saw a major problem in how training was done and how intimidating it was. We created a safe space to get healthy and teach people proper habits that will last a lifetime.

What is your magic sauce?

We hold our trainers to the highest level of knowledge and learning. Our program is designed for someone who is busy and doesn’t have much time on their hands. Who also tends not to enjoy training so much. Our sessions are 30 minutes, and we use a team of trainers to help clients through their journey.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

As we’ve mastered our personal training business, we want to be in every major Canadian city. We want to franchise our simple business model as it’s a very lucrative business.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

There have been many over 15 years – staff challenges, landlord challenges, and a pandemic where our business was closed for six months out of an entire year.

How can people get involved?

They can share the word! Especially if you know of anyone looking to franchise a really great gem of a business.
