Hi, I’m Ashley! I’ve spent the last decade as a leader in Sales and Customer Success at organizations ranging from early-stage, high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies in industries including Insurance, Pharma and SaaS. Currently, I’m the CEO & Co-Founder of CultureAlly, and I’m incredibly excited to be growing this company with my amazing team.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Focus on progress, not perfection. And persistence is key – keep showing up every day.
What problem does your business solve?
CultureAlly is your one-stop shop for all your diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) needs. We have a platform that connects organizations to the top DEI experts and resources, and we specialize in DEI training, consulting, e-learning, resources, and more.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
With the rise in social movements globally and the shift to remote and global work, improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace is super important, not just for businesses to thrive but for creating an organizational culture where all dimensions of diversity are celebrated, where everyone feels represented and valued, and has an equal opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to success.
Many organizations want to implement DEI initiatives but don’t know where to start. It can also be a challenge to navigate which solutions are right for your business; many organizations end up having to manage several vendors, and DEI efforts can feel disjointed. And organizations are looking for a trusted partner who can customize offerings and service hybrid and global teams. That’s where CultureAlly comes in. We have your diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) solutions all in one place, and we customize our offerings to each of our clients.
What is your magic sauce?
We customize our offerings (consulting, training, and e-learning) to our clients’ needs, and we offer access to all our resources and solutions on our proprietary software platform to make things easy, convenient, and accessible.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
To be THE one-stop-shop for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion solutions, all accessible on our platform. We plan to continue to grow and scale our offerings and 10x revenue over the next five years.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
We bootstrapped CultureAlly, and that comes with its challenges, such as limited resources. Building a tech company is costly, and we’re constantly evaluating and re-evaluating how we can stay lean while still providing the best solutions and experiences for our clients.
