As a teenager, Keith Howell became a paraplegic and relied on hand controls to drive a vehicle. When the maker of his preferred control went out of business, Keith decided to make them himself, starting Howell Ventures and over time rolling out a wide range of hand controls for vehicles.
Since their launch in 1986, their products have become one of the leading brands in the disabled driving control space across North America, and appear to be available worldwide (found a dealer in New Zealand selling them).
