Moosehead is a Canadian company that has been led by members of the Oland family since 1867. Its story began when Susannah Oland began brewing in her backyard and shared the drink “October Brown Ale” with the local community. The drink proved to be popular and led to the family opening a brewery.

Today, it is the last major brewery in Canada that is still under Canadian ownership. The brewery is in Saint John, New Brunswick where the company brews one of Canada’s favourite beers. The company is now led by brothers Andrew and Patrick Oland, who are the sixth generation of Olands to run the brewery.
