Jerico is a Canadian company manufacturing clothing for all genders and ages. It is a family owned company that has been in operation since 1987 when it was started by two brothers and two sisters.
Despite competition from brands that produce their clothing cmore cheaply overseas, Jerico still makes all their clothes in Canada. The company says this has presented some challenges, especially when the quota on imports was lifted in 2001, but it is a deliberate choice to sipport the Cnadian economy and ensure the workers have a safe working environment. Keeping the production in Canada also means that the company has more control over the quality of the garments it produces.
