Peace by Chocolate is a compaby founded by the Hadhad family, Syrian refugees to Canada. Before they arrived in Canada, they were creating and shipping specialty treats all over the Middle East and Europe fro mtheir chocolate factory in Damascus. However, the factory was desctroyed in 2012 and the famildy had to flee to Lebanon.

After three years of uncertainty, the family was invited to immigrate to Canada where they rebuilt their business in Nova Scotia. They founded Peace by Chocolate in 2016 and combine a blend of Syrian ingredients and fillings in their products.
