True North Log & Timber Homes is the second log home company started by Ron Wrightman–this time with his son, Rob. Founded in 1986, this company is dedicated to building custom log and timber homes for their customers. Though it started as a small family business, True North has grown into an international business with its base in Bracebridge, Ontario. 

To order a custom log home from True North, you’ll have to contact the company directly. You’ll be able to tell them how many bedrooms you want, the square footage you prefer, the budget, if you already own land, and if there are any “must have” features for your dream home. There’s also a plan book that helps you design parts of your home.
