Mushmush is a Canadian parka company located in the Northwest Territories. All of their parkas are custom-made, and they don’t use factories or manufacturing facilities. Each design has its own “passport”, with a unique pattern that is cut and sewn by experienced seamstresses around Great Slave Lake. They make traditional Canadian parkas with a slightly altered design to make them more flattering; other than this small change, they continue to make pure Canadian parkas for those cold northern winters. 

You can find their products online. Options include a traditional straight outer shell design or the deep flounce of the “Mother Hubbard” style. Parkas can be ordered in either Arctic-weight wool or City-weight, depending on the type of winters you are facing.
