We are a digital marketing agency partner to B2B global marketing teams. Our mission is to help our clients create magical customer experiences. What stops global marketing teams now? Tech debt, shortage of people, and high costs to implement strategy. We are the “marketing tech people”.
Tell us about yourself?
I had marketing and tech jobs, and I love international perspectives, so I found my Ikigai in marketing technology consulting. That is the intersection of what you love, what makes money, and what you’re good at.
In my marketing jobs, I noticed right away how much digital transformation impacts the profession. When I started my first agency job, my manager was leading a CRM project for a big enterprise company, and she didn’t even know the difference between Contacts and Companies.
There must be better ways to do things, I said to myself. So then freelance work turned into company work and global expansion.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Delegate more of the things you’re not good at so you can focus on what you do best. For example, I wasn’t good at web design, so I wasted a lot of time trying to build my own website instead of just paying a pro.
I tell this to my clients as well. Don’t worry about what is not critical to your business. We’ll handle the details for you to run smoothly.
What problem does your business solve?
We are a trusted partner for global marketing teams at tech companies. Companies partner with us when they need help going to market. Whatever that is – tech expertise, people, strategies, or tactics – we are a trusted agency partner with a global presence.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Marketing as a profession is not what it could be. Marketing teams lack digital expertise, especially tech skills. IT specialists consider marking too much fluff, so we are between both worlds.
What is your magic sauce?
Companies we work with see us as a natural extension of their team. We are global and specialized. We are passionate about what we do. We work with clients as trusted digital marketing partners. Believe me when I say “passion for what you do” is a secret sauce.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Growth! 100 employees! 10 times revenue and lots of happy clients that see us as the best thing since sliced bread.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Growth hurdles, turnover with big clients, and staff changes, but we managed to overcome everything. Every time I look back, I see last year’s problems as far gone!
The consulting business feels like a sports team. The more skilled you get, the more wins you have and the more you advance to different leagues. The ball game we are playing now is not the same ball game we played a few years ago.
