We are making diagnostic testing accessible to everyone through a convenient drive-thru and walk-in method without an appointment!

Tell us about yourself?

My background is being an electrician, who are problems solvers by nature. Realizing that our current healthcare system was struggling to keep up with demand during the pandemic, I quickly pivoted the industry, trying to solve this problem.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Time is my most valuable currency. There are people who do nothing but steal your time, and the faster you can recognize those people, the better off you are.

What problem does your business solve?

Make diagnostic testing more accessible and relieve stress on our overworked public healthcare system.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

This idea started by seeing an article in a South Korean newspaper. I thought to myself; this is so smart! People are contained in their cars and don’t have to expose themselves to other (potentially sick) people while waiting to see if they’re sick. Seemed like a fairly simple solution to a complex problem.

What is your magic sauce?

Putting the customer first, making their lives as convenient as possible. We also designed proprietary software that allowed us to process cars in the fastest possible way during the height of the pandemic while maintaining the highest level of accuracy, as we were the first company to have the customers pre-register, having them input their own information into our system. This was a BIG help as we processed upwards of 4,000 daily across Canada.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Now that we are shifting out of the pandemic, GoTestRapide is now pivoting and rebranding as GTR Health, offering the latest technology in rapid diagnostic testing, including Virtually Painless Blood Tests through the prick of a finger! Our technology can process 72 different laboratory quality tests, with some tests requiring less than two drops of blood. Moreover, as our focus shifts to wellness, we are offering a complete lineup of Vitamin Therapy treatments to keep our bodies healthy, and they keep us out of the hospital! Wellness needs to start from within. Preventative medicine is now a very hot topic as this was accentuated due to the pandemic.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Staffing is currently the biggest problem in the industry.

How can people get involved?

If you’re looking to open a GTR Health franchise, please send your email to, and if you’re a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse looking for work, please send your CV to
