Listing Optimization for Amazon Products so brands can Grow Sales Faster with Conversion Rate Confidence. We’ve been focused on helping brands of all sizes grow on Amazon through product photography, video, ads management, and more since 2016.
Tell us about yourself?
Before starting Kenji ROI, I was a carpenter that hated his job and wanted more freedom. I started a media company first that barely made any money. Then I started selling products on Amazon and did fairly well with that. From that experience, I launched Kenji ROI to help other brands succeed on Amazon. I learned everything I know about business from podcasts, books, and online courses, never went to university.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Be more intentional about company growth. Growing revenue as fast as possible is not always the best move because the top priority should be building your business in a way that best supports you as the founder, the livelihoods of the employees, and the results for the clients.
What problem does your business solve?
We help brands improve their conversion rates on Amazon so they can increase sales revenue and profit.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Inspired by my own experience growing my own Amazon product sales to $40k USD per month. There were a lot of challenges I faced that all sellers on Amazon also have to solve, but may not have the time or skills.
What is your magic sauce?
The Triple Optimized Listing Method. It’s our unique process for maximizing conversion rates on Amazon through deep market analysis, persuasive desire optimization, and key info optimization.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
I plan to sell the company to one of the giant companies in the Amazon seller space so Kenji ROI can grow into its full potential. They have the financial resources & connections to grow it into a true global enterprise.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Scaling up our very complex listing production team quickly was the biggest challenge for sure. We were hiring and training several new people every month and had to rebuild a lot of our processes and systems to work at scale. This created a lot of chaos internally and we had to pump the brakes on sales and marketing to focus on refining our operations. It was super challenging because changing processes while also training new team members made it much more difficult to train them properly.
