Tell us about yourself?
While I have spent part of my career working with Finance, I have always been fascinated by technology and how it has the potential to improve the lives of people. From creating new products and services to streamlining processes and increasing efficiency, technology has the power to transform the way we do business.
As the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, I am responsible for remaining on the cutting edge of technology and ensuring that our company is leveraging the latest advancements to stay competitive and successful. I am always looking for new opportunities to innovate and improve, and technology provides an excellent platform for exploration and development.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
A humble piece of advice I could give my younger self or anybody reading this article would be to “trust the process”.
What problem does your business solve?
VoIP.ms exists to change the way people communicate, as simple as that. We work towards this by building a communications solution that provides multiple features to our customers. We serve many clients, ranging from SMBs/larger enterprises to telecommunications resellers and residential customers.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
VoIP.ms was founded in 2007 and has served over 80,000 customers since then. Since the company was founded, we have always had one thing in mind: offering customers the highest value. We operate on three different pillars:
- We strive to excel in customer service – many businesses say that, but few accomplish the promise.
- We offer a customized and diverse platform to meet the unique needs of our different customers.
- We believe our success equals our customer success, so we focus on accessibility.

What is your magic sauce?
The magic sauce is to be obsessed with customer success and flawless execution. As cliché as it sounds, it’s true. Having the right people sitting in the right seats also makes a huge difference.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
We aim to keep on enhancing our platform based on customer feedback and the latest industry trends. There is a lot of growth potential in real-time communications, and we aim to capture a share of this market to keep on better serving our customers. We will surely keep on delivering a highly customizable, reliable, and accessible service.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The pandemic has brought its share of challenges for our team and our customers. Nonetheless, we kept our heads down to deliver product releases at a high velocity. Additionally, in late 2021, a wave of cyberattacks impacted the telecommunications industry. Needless to say, it was a challenging period for us and the industry. Like most companies in the industry, we shifted our focus to providing visibility and transparency to customers and doubling down on systems enhancement and stability. In the end, we all got out of it much stronger. In challenging times, one can recognize the goods from the greats.
