Crosby is a Canadian family-owned and operated business that has been importing the finest molasses in the world to the East Coast of Canada since 1879. Lorenze George Crosby, the founder of the company, started with a grocery store in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. As his business became more successful, he moved the operations to Saint John, New Brunswick where the company is still located.

Today, Crosby’s is run by the fifth generation of the same family and it continues to make molasses as well as other foodservice products. For several decades now, Crosby’s has sourced its molasses exclusively from Madre Tierra, in Santa Lucia, Guatemala.
