3Mmm is a growing company that offers Micro-markets to companies and organizations of all sizes. A Micro-market is a cheaper alternative to a cafeteria service and offers healthier, more varied, and more accessible services than canteens and vending machines.

3Mmm offers a self-service food system to companies and products for people who appreciate quality, variety, and freshness at reasonable prices. All Micro-markets require a kiosk for their purchases, therefore available 24/7.

3Mmm Group aims to innovate but also to offer quality products, whether it be for full meals or snacks.

3Mmm Group is the only company to offer Micro-markets that are 100 per cent Canadian. Therefore, we can guarantee that all the data and the transaction stay in Canada.

Tell us about yourself?

Prior to 3Mmm, I was a Special Agent Bodyguard for the Province of Quebec within the public security department for about 11 years. Having been injured on duty, I had to change my career. I discovered while making searches on the net the Micro-market industry that the U.S.A. had since 10 years ago. I thoroughly studied the U.S. market so that I could implement the service here in Canada to meet Canadian industry and respond to clients’ needs.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

To be more open-minded when listening to possible partnerships in different fields but somehow connected to our industry.

What problem does your business solve?

Micro-markets are the new trend in business. They replace expensive cafeterias and impersonal vending machines whose quality and variety may leave something to be desired.
3Mmm Group provides a 24/7 service to its customers.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

The inspiration was and still is to offer the Micro-market service to customers in Canada while adapting our model to meet Canadians’ needs.
Also, one of our missions is to stay a 100 per cent Canadian-based company.

What is your magic sauce?

After the first five years of learning the industry, I realized that no Canadian company offered software to support our micro-market operations and keep the data and transactions in Canada. I then decided to work closely with an IT partner to develop the software to meet our goals and needs, but also to be able to respond to our clients in a timely fashion.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We continue to aim to be the reference in the micro-market industry in Canada by providing top-quality products and services to our different clients.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

The biggest challenge for 3Mmm Group is to compete against big international businesses like Aramark and Canteen. However, these two companies don’t specialize in the Micro-market industry as 3Mmm Group does.
