Monte Design group is a Canadian company founded by Ralph and Michelle Montemurro in 2005. Ralph and Michelle are both designers and had the idea for Monte Design when they needed to furnish their son’s nursery. Their goal was to make products that were stylish and modern as well as exceptionally comfortable.

Ralph and Michelle’s first design was the Luca Glider, which went through 40 iterations before they were happy with it. They still show the same devotion to detail when designing and producing Monte’s furniture.
