Tender Heart Gift Co. was started by Kathryn in memory of her Father who passed away following a long battle with cancer. She got the idea for the business when she was trying to find an appropriate Father’s Day card for her Father who was already in palliative care. She felt that many others could probably relate to the situation so she decided to create a line of cards that were simple and heartfelt.

In memory of her Father, Kathryn donates part of the proceeds from her Etsy shop to the Canadian Cancer Society which she hopes will make some difference to others diagnosed with cancer.
