Tell us about yourself?

I began my career working at Hewlett Packard in their enterprise division. I was always interested in how much needed to get done in the life insurance world. At the time, e-signature wasn’t normal, and most brokers managed their book of business on paper or spreadsheets. There was and continues to be a lot that could be done to enrich the client’s life insurance purchasing experience with the help of a broker.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Navigating the insurance world takes time and patience. In an industry that deals with risk, large decisions are made with an ample amount of due diligence.

Although our technology is modern, our service is old-fashioned. We work around the schedules of our clients and sometimes make house calls. We’re here to solve our customers’ problems.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Dundas Life will become one of Canada’s largest life insurance brokerages in the next five years by providing:
