The original ComfyComfy was founded in the US by yoga instructor Maggie Wong in 2011. She began the business as the sole employee, making all the products herself. As demand grew, she enlisted other craftspeople to help fulfill the orders. In 2013, ComfyComfy was brought to Canada by Maggie’s son Dan and his wife Melissa, who started ComfyComfy Canada as a small family business operating from the Greater Toronto Area.

ComfyComfy sources its materials from Canada and the US. All the pillows are filled with Canadian-grown organic buckwheat hulls that are cleaned without fumigants or chemicals. The organic cotton used in the products comes from Texas.
