Sparta Country Candles was founded in 1992 by Pat and Mary Muscat. The company is located in the historic village of Sparta, Ontario where it also has a store featuring two floors of rooms full of Sparta Country candles, unique home decor items, seasonal items, and candle accessories.
Making their own candles was not part of Pat and Mary’s initial plan, but when their customers kept asking for high-quality candles at affordable prices, they introduced their own candles in 1995. Sparta Country Candles is the first candle company to introduce candle refills. They will also replace any candle if it does not meet your satisfaction.
