Gees Bees is a Canadian owned and operated business that is located in Ottawa, ON. The company was founded in 2009 by Marianne and Matt Gee who first discovered their love of beekeeping when they found a bee hive in the wall of their house. They now have a thriving beekeeping enterprise that produces pure, unpasteurized honey and offers beehive shares, classes and educational tours. Their hive share program presents a great opportunity for you to buy a ‘share’ of the production of a beehive. This means that at the end of the season in September you will receive the honey that the hive has produced.

In June they hold their Bee Days which is a multi day event where you can go and meet the bees and learn all about beekeeping and the equipment that is used to produce this amazing product. Gees Bees sells everything you would ever need to practice beekeeping including wooden frames, nucs and queen bees, tools and clothing. They also sell delicious flavours and types of honey such as wildflower, blueberry blossom, marsh honey and creamed honey plus candles and beeswax.
