Hive Hero by Paradis Valley Honey is a family tradition. Danny, the owner, is a seventh-generation beekeeper. In the 1950’s, his grandfather relocated their hives (and the business) from Quebec to Alberta. The business took off from there, and Paradis and Son Honey became one of the most successful beekeeping ventures in the province. In fact, his grandfather became the first to fly bees in from the US to replace bees lost during Alberta winters, which is a strategy that many beekeepers in winter climates still use today.

Danny and his wife started their own farm in 2003, building on the legacy of his grandfather. They are passionate about their work and strive to create high-quality products that can help their family continue for generations to come. Hive Hero sells rendered beeswax, artisan soaps, personal care products such as deodorant and lip balm, and more. They also sell raw honey and bee pollen.
