Tell us about yourself?

I have 20-plus years of experience in digital marketing and software development, including, but not limited to, creative and technological fields of expertise. I acquired a deep, all-around understanding of paid and earned media, along with the implementation of software and website development best practices. Starting a small business, now expanded to an international agency, in this field came naturally.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

I would tell myself to be as flexible as possible in every area of life. The more we are able to bend in unprecedented situations, the longer we can withstand the challenges thrown at us instead of crumbling under pressure.

What problem does your business solve?

Nowadays, the first impression anyone has of a business is a digital one. That makes it more vital than ever for companies to have a strong online presence, an eye-catching and memorable brand identity, along with a user-friendly platform (whether that’s a website or mobile app). When all of those elements are intact, more potential clients and users will be drawn to a business that actually accompanies their needs. By bringing the business to people instead of forcing the people towards the business, we create a win/win situation. The needs of the people and the business are met – and all of that with the power of technology and marketing. That is how we connect our clients to success.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Digilite began as a freelancing venture in my basement 16 years ago. It has since grown into a multifunctional agency with offices in five global cities, including Toronto, Dubai, Yerevan, Sydney, and Los Angeles. It all began with a desire to do more with the resources I had at my disposal and the exceptional skills I was surrounded by. We started Digilite with a small group of folks on my team who were eager to help on a freelance basis, and it quickly grew into a full-service agency.

What is your magic sauce?

I, of course, can’t give away our best practices and methods for success, but I can give credit to the components that help us achieve it. One thing that has given us an edge against our competition is our strategic placement of international offices. We have established a Digilite office from Los Angeles all the way to Sydney that allows us to serve businesses from different industries, countries, and continents. Our regional managers ensure that we can meet our clients’ local needs, which may differ from country to country, for example. We are also able to offer 24/7 availability for our clients since when one region goes to sleep; there’s always someone awake on the other side of the world to handle critical issues (in case they arise) on the spot.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our vision has always been and continues to be positively impacting the businesses of our clients by constantly pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve through custom-tailored tech and marketing solutions, along with future-proofing them. The tech and marketing landscapes are ever-changing, which means we’re always aiming to utilize the latest best practices and tools to help our clients achieve that. I can’t reveal much now, but we aim to extend our services to many more industries and countries in the long term by establishing more partners and offices worldwide.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Digilite is no exception to the list of businesses impacted by the pandemic. We had to find a new approach to our processes — and fast. We moved all of our teams online and utilized the power of remote work in order to protect our staff and keep the business up and running. Yet, there was still a challenge at hand: what use was marketing when many of our clients had to temporarily close their on-site businesses too? Such as restaurants, stores, and so on. That was until the wave of online shopping became prominent, and we quickly understood that our clients needed to make a greater mark on the Internet than before to secure their business in such times. For example, we had a surge of eCommerce website building and SEO projects at that time that would immensely help our clients. Slowly yet surely, we were able to come out of the pandemic stronger than before it.

How can people get involved?

We work with clients from a wide scope of industries, from food and hospitality to gaming, law, education, manufacturing, automotive, and more. In that sense, we are open to helping medium and large enterprise businesses worldwide to establish or affirm their digital presence.
