Tell us about yourself?

John is a serial entrepreneur, a lifelong innovator, and an expert in digital engagement. In 1999 John co-founded Launchfire, a game-based digital promotions company that works with leading CPG brands, restaurant chains and retailers like Coca Cola, Cracker Barrel, and Costco to educate consumers and increase sales.

In 2018 John co-founded LemonadeLXP, a digital growth platform for financial institutions and fintechs. LemonadeLXP incorporates Launchfire’s 23 years of digital engagement best practices to help FIs and fintechs turn frontline staff into digital experts, support customers as they switch to digital, and grow their digital banking business.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Hire strong leaders. Make sure your teams are made up of A-players.

What problem does your business solve?

We help financial institutions grow their digital banking business and maximize the ROI on their technology investments.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Tech rollouts and conversions are challenging moments for both financial institutions and fintechs. Too often, most of the focus is on the technology and not on the humans who are meant to use it. When your new tech goes live though, it’s human beings who drive the success or failure of your implementation. Providing effective training and timely support will minimize disruption, create exceptional employee and customer experiences, and maximize the ROI on your technology investments.

Our biggest advantages are; Engaging learning experience, fast and easy implementation, rapid authoring tools

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We will finish building our beachhead in the financial industry and then branch out into new industries.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

We haven’t had to change course. Becoming a data-driven sales and marketing organization continues to be a challenge.
