Tell us about yourself?
Upon graduating university with a useless degree, I was willing to do anything to get into the tech industry. I figured I could make it into tech if I learned how to code. So I took a computer coding bootcamp, worked at a few different tech companies to get my feet wet, and then eventually took the leap to start my dream company.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
“Keep trying new things. You’ll find your calling soon.”
What problem does your business solve?
Have you ever had a shitty employee onboarding experience? Of course you have. We’ve fixed that.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
I was struggling to fulfill the requirements of my job because our employee onboarding process was so manual.
What is your magic sauce?
We provide an engaging front-end experience for employees to participate in their onboarding by having everything they need in one spot.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Our plan for the next 5 years is to enable HR & People Professionals by allowing them to build, discover and share People Programs amongst each other and then using Aboard to help deliver said People Programs to their people.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge we’ve faced so far is the current economic slowdown.
