Luxury mattresses can be difficult to shop for, especially considering the number of features you must consider before making a purchase. However, Logan & Cove’s newest luxury hybrid takes the guesswork out of your hands. In our Logan & Cove Pinnacle review, we’ll look at everything this mattress has to offer, including its hotel-quality sleep experience, performance metrics, construction, and more.
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is the most advanced model the company offers. Years of sleep experience have created a mattress tailored to sleepers who need the best pressure relief, the most advanced motion isolation, and the most effective temperature regulation on the Canadian market. Side sleepers, couples, and hot sleepers will love the way this mattress addresses their most common sleep issues.
Who should consider the Logan & Cove Pinnacle?
- Side Sleepers who prefer a mattress with plush comfort and deep pressure relief.
- Couples who need strong motion isolation to sleep comfortably.
- Canadians who can spend a little more on a higher-end mattress.
- Hot sleepers who need better airflow and less heat build-up.
Avoid the Logan & Cove Pinnacle if you…
- Prefer a firmer mattress.
- Are on a tighter budget and need a more affordable option.
Now, we’ll look closer at the materials used to create the Logan & Cove Pinnacle. These materials and how they work together make this mattress stand out from other hybrid mattresses in Canada.

Logan & Cove Pinnacle Mattress Construction
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle has six layers of foam, coils, and fill. These layers work together to provide a surface that relieves pressure, remains breathable, and contours to your body for additional support. There are three coil layers inside this mattress, making it one of the most unique hybrid mattresses in Canada.
- 1.5″ Quilted Euro-Top Quality. The Quilted Euro-Top cover is a staple of Logan & Cove’s mattresses, and this one is no different. The Pinnacle offers a full 1.5” of soft, cushioned mattress top that is quilted right into the cover. The cover uses CryoFusion nanofibres to keep you cool, while the hollow-fibre fill and cooling gel foam within the Euro-Top section help reduce heat at the top of the mattress. If you enjoy pillow top mattresses and want to sink into a cloud when you lay down, this is the best Logan & Cove mattress for you.
- 1″ ecoLuxe Cooling Gel Foam. The first layer of the mattress is ecoLuxe cooling gel foam. This layer helps mitigate heat, reducing discomfort for those who normally sleep hot. The cooling gel draws heat away from you and down through the other parts of the mattress, leaving the top cooler so you don’t wake up sweating. This layer is also great at contouring to your body, reducing pressure on your joints.
- 1″ Aeroduct Micro Coils. The first layer of coils within the Pinnacle is 1” of Aeroduct Micro Coils. These coils are small and responsive, forming to the shape of your body for better support. The contouring they offer can’t be found with other types of foam or coils, making them a unique addition to the Logan & Cove Pinnacle.
- 1″ Premium Elastex. A middle layer of Premium Elastex foam keeps the coil layers separated. This layer of Elastex adds bounce and cushioning. This layer helps with your deepest pressure points throughout the night, even while it offers responsiveness so movement is easy. Placing this layer between the two micro-coil layers makes it more effective than it would be otherwise. This latex-alternative foam has all the features of latex foam without triggering any latex allergies.
- 1″ Aeroduct Micro Coils. A second layer of micro-coils below the Elastex helps with better airflow and further contouring before the support layer. These coils add another dimension to the mattress that is unique to the Pinnacle.
- 9″ Pocketed Coils with Reinforced Edge Support. Finally, the core is made of strong 9” pocketed coils. These individually wrapped coils contour to your body for customized support, better pressure relief, and better motion isolation than standard coils. The coils through the middle of the mattress are firmer to better support your back and hips, while a perimeter of edge support foam reduces sinking and sagging near the edges of the mattress.
Firmness and Feel for the Logan & Cove Pinnacle
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is a medium-firm mattress. Logan & Cove ranks it at a 6.5, but we rate it closer to 6. This is because of the softer Euro-top, which creates a cloud-like surface when you initially lay down.
So who benefits most from the feel of this mattress?
- Side sleepers, especially those who need better pressure relief, will love the way this mattress feels. The zoned support from the coil layer, extra contouring from the micro-coils, and soft pressure relief at the top of the mattress make it an ideal option for those who sleep on their sides.
- Stomach sleepers, especially those who prefer a softer mattress. The strong support from the core of this mattress makes it ideal for stomach sleepers, and the soft top makes it comfortable to ease into. Heavier stomach sleepers, however, may want to avoid this mattress. It’s easy to sink through the softer layers, leaving your back unsupported while you lay on your stomach.
Though the Pinnacle performs well for side and stomach sleepers, back sleepers may need to try it for themselves to see if it is right for them.

Logan & Cove Pinnacle Performance
When we review a mattress, we look at how it performs in a few key areas. These areas are often pain points for Canadians looking for a new mattress, so looking at how it performs in these areas may help you decide if this mattress is best for you.
Pressure Relief and Alignment
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle has the thickest Euro-top section in the Logan & Cove mattress lineup. This section is plush and comfortable, contributing to a thicker comfort layer than most mattresses on the Canadian market. This layer and the layers of foam below make this mattress extremely good at pressure relief.
This mattress offers deep sinkage and extreme pressure relief. While most mattresses with this level of sinkage are less supportive, the opposite is true for the Pinnacle. The comfort layers are backed by extreme zoned support and three layers of coils. These layers provide contouring for your body and better alignment for your spine. The zoned coils in the middle of the support layer help reduce any deeper sinkage at your hips, while the comfort layers prevent pressure points from forming.
Motion Isolation for Couples
Motion isolation is one area where the Logan & Cove Pinnacle could improve. Because of the multiple coil layers (which are great for other performance areas), motion transfers across the mattress more easily. If your partner tosses and turns, you may be able to feel movement or vibrations from the other side of the bed.
While this is easily the area where the Logan & Cove Pinnacle suffers most, it still performs at about average for a hybrid mattress. It isolates motion better than a traditional innerspring mattress, but an all-foam option would be better suited for those who need strong motion isolation.
Edge Support
The solid coil layer of the Logan & Cove Pinnacle offers outstanding edge support. This is due to the additional encasement of foam that surrounds the coils. This firmer foam helps keep the edges from sinking too far when you sit or sleep near the edge.
Some mattresses may make you feel like you are sinking or sliding off when you sit on the edge of the bed. The thick encasement and strong supportive core of the Pinnacle help eliminate this feeling. Edge-to-edge support reduces discomfort no matter where you sleep. Plus, it’s easier to sit on the side of the bed in the morning to get ready for your day.
Temperature Control for Hot Sleepers
Three coils layers and multiple layers of foam (none of which are traditional memory foam, which tends to hold onto heat) help the Pinnacle stay cool. The additional airflow from three coil layers, the reduced build-up from latex and memory foam alternatives, and the loose fibrefill of the Euro-top all contribute to reduced temperatures throughout the night.
Every part of this mattress works to pull heat away from you as you sleep. While mattresses made with more traditional memory foam may retain heat, the Logan & Cove Pinnacle transfers heat down through the layers, where open coil layers reduce higher temperatures. This mattress performs extremely well for Canadians who usually wake up hot.
Ease of Movement
While the Euro-top section does restrict movement a bit, it doesn’t make it that much harder to move around on top of the Pinnacle. The contouring coils and responsive latex alternative transition layer add some bounce and response, making you feel less like you are stuck int he mattress.
The result is a mattress where you feel comfortable turning and adjusting throughout the night. Even if you have to move around to get comfortable, this mattress doesn’t hold you back. If you’re looking for a bouncy mattress, however, this may not be the one for you.
Logan & Cove Mattress Comparison
The Pinnacle is the most advanced mattress the company offers, so it’s only natural to compare it to the company’s other offerings. Does this mattress perform better than its predecessors? Let’s look at how they stack up.
Pinnacle vs Frontier
The Frontier is Logan & Cove’s midline mattress. It uses a thinner Euro-top cover section and just two coil layers. Removing the second micro-coil layer affects how well this mattress contours to your body, and the Euro-top isn’t as comfortable or cloud-like as the Pinnacle.
However, performance is where the difference truly lies. While the Logan & Cove Pinnacle performs extremely well in most areas, the Frontier is firmer, offers worse pressure relief, and doesn’t cool or support as effectively.
Frontier is still a good choice, and it far outclasses other mattresses in its price range. However, the Pinnacle is an outstanding upgrade to the Frontier’s already-solid performance.
Pinnacle vs Choice
The Logan & Cove Choice is the baseline model for Logan & Cove’s mattress lineup. This mattress is 3” shorter than the Pinnacle. Most of this missing height comes from the lack of micro-coil layers, as well as a thinner top section. Instead of using a full Euro-top, the Choice has a quilted top that uses quilted foam infused with cooling gel.
This mattress doesn’t contour as deeply as the Pinnacle, and the single coil layer removes some stability from the mattress overall. It stays at the same level of support you might find in the Frontier, but is firmer, relieves less pressure, and doesn’t cool as effectively.
Choice is a good option for those who don’t have much to spend. This is still a luxury mattress that performs well, even without the additional layers offered by the two upgraded models in the lineup.
Pricing and Value
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is a luxury mattress, which means it’s the most expensive option that Logan & Cove offers. However, it doesn’t compare to other luxury options in price. Among competitors such as the Casper Wave Hybrid Snow or the Simba 5000 Pro Flex, the Pinnacle sells at a more affordable price point. Here’s how that breaks down per size. We’ll compare it to these two competing mattresses (as well as the Frontier) to give you a better idea of how it ranks.

Shipping, Sleep Trial, and Warranty
Logan & Cove’s shipping, sleep trial, and warranty policies make ordering a mattress online less intimidating. Here’s what you have to look forward to.
Shipping
Like all Logan & Cove Mattresses, the Logan & Cove Pinnacle ships free to most locations in Canada. Though they offer free shipping, Logan & Cove may not be able to deliver to remote locations for free. If you live in a remote location and aren’t sure if you can get your mattress delivered for free, you can always contact Logan & Cove’s customer service team. They will be more than happy to assist you by looking at shipping and fees to your exact address.
Sleep Trials and Warranties
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle has industry-leading company policies, especially when it comes to their sleep trial and warranty. You can try the Pinnacle for a full year (365 nights!) before you decide if it works for you. This is more than enough time to determine if you’ll like the mattress. If you decide that it isn’t for you at any point during this year-long period, you can return the mattress for a full refund of your purchase price.
If you decide to keep the mattress, you’ll have access to a full 15-year warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing, including deep indents, defective springs, and materials mistreated during the construction process
Off-Gassing and Setup Procedure
Like most bed in a box mattresses in Canada, the Pinnacle will arrive at your door in a box. It is rolled up and wrapped in plastic to make shipping easier. As long as you remove the mattress from the box promptly, this doesn’t affect its performance at all.
Before your mattress arrives, make sure that you have help moving your mattress into the room where you need to set it up. You will also need to have a foundation ready to place the mattress on. The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is compatible with box foundations, platform beds, adjustable beds, and slatted frames.
Once the box arrives, you should move it into place on the foundation. This box will be heavy, so we recommend team lifting to get it into place. Once the box is on your bed, you can open the box and pull the mattress out onto the foundation.
Cut the plastic, ensuring that you don’t cut into the mattress materials. Once this plastic is cut, the mattress will begin to expand. Take all of the plastic off and unroll your mattress. It may take some time for the Logan & Cove Pinnacle to expand to its full intended size. While the company assures you that you can sleep on it the same day it arrives, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours after removing the plastic wrap. This gives the mattress plenty of time to expand.
