Capital Fine Meats began in 1929 as Capital Packers. At this time, the meat industry in Edmonton was booming. Now, Capital Fine Meats sits on the same land as the original Capital Packers facility. They started with a goal of producing fresh, local meats to sell to the local family grocery stores in Edmonton. Now, their products are sold at popular chain grocers around Canada. The company is still family-owned and operated with four generations of experience.
