Tell us about yourself?
After graduating with a BEd, a BA, and an MBA, the business side of show business very quickly became my main interest. I initially worked with my brother, who created the Record Pools for DJs all over the world when Disco was “born”. I quickly moved on into music publishing, music, film, and T.V. production to rapidly get into new technologies and special digital effects, having worked with the company that produced the movie “Tron”. AI was the next step in my journey in the media world.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Follow your dream and be very adventurous. Be an entrepreneur, a visionary. Never a follower.
What problem does your business solve?
HITLAB, the first and only music company with technology to discover tomorrow’s hitmakers and showcase them today.
The Company is focusing on a market of users who upload 60,000 songs/day to a leading Digital Service Provider (DSP) but are not yet using a solution. Through partnerships with music industry leaders (catalogue owners, record labels, DSPs), HITLAB delivers innovative music analysis and valuation solutions to a market of untapped potential.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
My forever inspiration is giving services to emerging talent and helping them monetize their creativity.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
My plan for the next year is to make HITLAB the service brand for all creators and users of music. A B2B and B2C tool for all and, if possible, to make HITLAB a publicly traded company where talent would find a home.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge was not to be perceived as a “tool” which would cannibalize talent and an incentive to get rid of the talented A&Rs. We are a service for all creators and users of music and definitely NOT there to take jobs away.
