Highline Mushrooms is a Canadian company that grows organic mushrooms. They were founded in 1961 in Leamington, Ontario and have grown into a major mushroom supplier with farms in BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. They became the first organic certified mushroom producer in Canada in 2007 and were Safe Quality Food (SQF) certified in 2010. They ship their top quality mushrooms to locations all over the world.
The company utilizes a number of sustainability measures in their production: they pack their mushrooms in clear, recyclable containers, use vertical farming to reduce the space they need to grow and produce in energy-efficient facilities. Highline grows a large variety of mushrooms, including Shiitake, Portabella, White, King Oyster, and Mini Bella. They also make mushrooms stuffed with basil and pesto, red pepper and feta, and spinach and artichoke. You can find their mushrooms at your local grocery store.
