Nicolas Bon began his career in the field of artificial intelligence by creating a company helping to democratize Big Data in Canada after his Master’s degree that he obtained at HEC Montreal in partnership with EM Lyon University.
Passionate about public relations, the evolution of digital media, and the opportunities offered by technology, he decided in 2017 to create Clark Influence, an Influence marketing agency based in Montreal, Toronto and Paris with a mission to bring a more creative approach to influence while returning to the essence of this profession: recommendation.
His understanding of consumer habits has contributed to the success of the agency and to making it one of the most prestigious in Canada. Today he focuses primarily on the management and administration of the agency.
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
If I were to go back in time, I would say to myself that I must continue to take risks and listen to the market. In an environment where instability is becoming the norm, you must try new things to stay ahead of the curve.

We offer full-service social marketing, creative, media, and technical disciplines, all grounded in a unique understanding of online culture and social behaviours.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
We try to create influential brands. Influencers are the new media, so we democratize their use in a healthy and ethical way.
What is your magic sauce?
We are true and caring. We try to inspire confidence without the nonsense. For this, we base all our decisions on the human being; which is the priority for us!
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
Our plan in the next few years is to become the leading creative Influence agency in North America. To create a collective of people who can challenge themselves and create an inspiring organization to work for.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The biggest challenge is the shortage of people. We are experiencing growth in recent years, and finding competent, professional people with a cool vibe is very complicated.
