Over the years Caprina has become the fifth best-selling soap brand in Canada, and Canus has developed over 70 different goat milk products, that have been distributed in North America, Europe and Asia. All of their goatโ€™s milk products are made with milk sourced from Canadian goat milk suppliers and all their products are manufactured in Quebec. Their brand Caprina can be found in most major grocery, pharmacies, major chains in Canada and on their transactional website.

In October 2023, Santrel International Inc. has become the new owner of Canus brands (Caprina, Nature by Canus and little goat) adding 3 more brands to their portfolio. They are a family-owned company from Quebec that owns multiple brands in natural health and beauty:

  • Caprina โ€“ Goatโ€™s milk skin care products
  • Nature by Canus โ€“ Goatโ€™s milk skin care products (with naturally derived ingredients)
  • Little goat โ€“ Babies and children Goatโ€™s milk skin care products
  • Aloex โ€“ Aloe vera gels/lotions and drinkable gel/juice
  • Novarnica โ€“ Anti-inflammatory products made with arnica flower
  • Light Blue Shade โ€“ Shampoo and conditioner for blond, white and grey hair

Note: All goatโ€™s milk products (Caprina, Nature by Canus and little goat) have changed ownership in October 2023. The new owners have made it their priority to bring back the quality and authenticity of the brands to what it used to be. Because the previous owner of Canus had to temporarily change supplier during 2021 and 2023, some of you might have noticed some differences in shape and look of bar soaps. However, Santrel International Inc. took back all production to their facility in Beloeil and soap bars are back to what they used to be. Even though the brands have changed ownership, there was no impact on availability and quality of the products customer love since 1998.
