Lush was founded by six co-founders in the UK in 1995. It emerged from the demise of a previous mail-order business, which despite proving successful in some aspects, collapsed because of a combination of flooding and over-trading. Since then, Lush has expanded beyond the UK borders.

Lush Canada, operates two facilities in Canada one in Etobicoke, Ontario, and the other in Vancouver, BC. These two factories supply Lush products for the entire North American market. So while Lush is not a Canadian company (although part of Lush Canada appears to be Canadian-owned), the products you will find in Lush stores in Canada will be made in Canada.
