Sport Chek is the largest retailer of sports clothing and equipment in Canada. It has stores coast to coast in Canada. The parent company of Sport Chek is FGL Sports, which owns more than a dozen sporting brands.
In 2011, FGL Sports, and therefore Sport Chek, was acquired by Canadian Tire for $771 million, which led to a large-scale restructuring.
