We are a team of experts with the vision to transform the learning industry by combining technology with human intelligence so we can help more companies build well-designed content for their training and learning programs.

To fulfill our mission, we built a unique product called LEAi (LearnExperts Artificial Intelligence) which automatically turns documents, presentations, and other types of content that are not purpose-built for training into learning content. This capability reduces the time it takes to create the content for courses by as much as 67 per cent when compared to traditional processes.

As a bonus, LEAi’s AI library is designed to automatically apply best practices for optimal learning, which means that every course is consistent, well-structured, and looks just like a training expert built it.

LEAi is changing the corporate training landscape as the development of training courses is no longer relegated to the training department. With LEAi, HR specialists can build engaging employee onboarding programs. Tell us about yourself?

After 20 years working at large technology companies in training organizations, I decided to leave the comforts of corporate life and fulfill a mission to disrupt the learning technology space.

I was inspired years ago, as head of course development, when I received a call from the CEO who needed my help because they were acquiring customers and releasing new features quickly, but training lagged six to nine months after product release. This meant we couldn’t train our customers fast enough to get immediate value from the software, and the company risked losing them as customers.

While I was able to re-engineer the course development process to ensure launch alongside the product release, which had a positive impact on customers, it was still a manual process and very time-consuming, taking months to develop the content and release the courses.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Build a community of investors, advisors, peers, and potential users around you so that you can get input and advice on how to drive the business forward and create value in your product as fast as possible. Getting feedback will always help you quickly realize the market opportunity, learn from those who have done it before, and help you make fewer mistakes along the way!

What problem does your business solve?

We solve the problem that development and release of training courses often lag by weeks or months behind when they are needed.

This lag means that companies are not able to maximize their revenues because they are not delivering the most recent information to their customers, employees, and partners. It also can affect a company’s brand, lead conversion rate, customer retention rate, and much more.

Our product provides customers with a consistent, quality output using content they already have in a third of the time it typically takes.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

We have lived the problem for our entire careers as learning professionals. The traditional training development process is long and people intense. We set out to redefine this process by leveraging our knowledge and experience with innovative technology.

Technology, like AI, reduces the effort and time it takes to perform tedious tasks. We have seen AI transform customer support, sales, and marketing departments, so we wanted to leverage some of that same technology to produce higher-quality training content more quickly and efficiently.

What is your magic sauce?

What makes our technology different is that it is designed by experts who have experience with proven learning models designed to help people learn faster and for the long term. We are using advanced AI models available in the market within LEAi to enable our customers to create quality, consistent training with those learning models applied.

Also, the data used by LEAi to create the training content is the company’s own information. This means that companies that use LEAi don’t have the pitfalls that are being encountered by other AI-based tools, like ChatGPT, that sometimes deliver content with questionable accuracy, dependability, and trustworthiness.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our vision is to change the world’s subject matter information into Learning through AI and be leaders to facilitate this transformation in the industry.

Today it’s hard to create learning content, but imagine anyone could do this with the power of AI. That’s what LearnExperts wants to accomplish, driving more skills and impacting industries, innovation, and growth around the world.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Being the first to market means that we have to be trailblazers, and until recently, available AI models could not do what we needed them to do to realize our vision. It is taking time to build confidence in the tool.
