Leahy Orchards is a Canadian company located in Quebec that was founded in the 1970’s by James R. Leahy. The Leahy family came to Canada from Ireland in 1820 and they have a proud tradition of farming that goes all the way back to that time. In 1990, they began to make their own applesauce. They called the brand Applesnax, and they are now a major fruit and vegetable processing company based on the success of that applesauce. Each year, they handle over 130 million pounds of fruits and vegetables. 

The company is still in the family and they process here in Canada – employing over 280 people in Franklin, QC. In addition to processing their own products, they are also able to co-pack for other producers. You can buy unsweetened and sweetened applesauce, apple puree and fillings from Leahy Orchards.
