Arctic Son was founded by the current owner’s dad, Don. When Don needed a utility trailer in the 1970s, he built one using an axel from a car. However, it wasn’t until 1983 that Don decided to leave his job in the trucking industry and start his own trailer-building company.
Over the years, the company has grown and expanded its product line to include ATV trailers, car haulers, and dump trailers. Don retired in 2013 handing over the reigns to the second generation of the family.
