My background and experience spans decades of shop floor controls and manufacturing execution systems (MES) with a specific focus on providing high-value, data-driven shop floor solutions to improve manufacturing operations. I have a passion for driving manufacturing operational excellence based on real-time production data and seeing the positive impact information technology can bring to make better decisions and improve our lives.

Even in unprecedented times, always focus on delivering value to your customers.
What problem does your business solve?
Helping North American manufacturing be more competitive with higher quality products while minimizing unexpected production inputs.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
RTS started delivering innovative shop floor control solutions, followed by becoming an SAP Manufacturing Solutions Partner. We then saw the real potential of OT/IT convergence to deliver significant benefits. By combining the granular, high-fidelity data from the shop floor with the MES layer. We saw this as the foundation of Industry 4.0/Digital Transformation for our diverse customer base, from food and beverage to automotive to mining.
What is your magic sauce?
Our business revolves around identifying MANUFACTURING execution high-value propositions and holistically delivering them via SAP DMC, MII, ME, and the shop floor.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
RTS will continue to deliver highly integrated manufacturing solutions, creating smart factories and intelligent enterprises by working with companies to create Industry 4.0/Digital Transformation roadmaps, and be there for the journey.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
The Manufacturing Industry’s economic instability has caused capex budgets to impede technology adoption. As a result, we have focused more on a stepped approach to solution delivery whereby each step brings incremental value versus the big bang approach.
