Encircled was founded by Kristi Soomer who was looking for sustainably-made, long-lasting, beautiful, and versatile clothesthat were perfect for tralve but could not find what she was looking for. Kristi launched Encircled in 2012 and since then the company has been manufacturing ethically-made, flattering and soft eco-friendly clothing.

Encircled only chooses fabrics that are not only eco-friendly but comfortable and washable. Over 50% of their fabrics are knit locally in Canada, which immediately reduces the company’s carbom footprint. It also means that all the workers are fairly paid and ensures easier quality control.
