Custom Woolen Mills is a small woolen mill in Carstairs, Alberta founded by Fen Roessingh and her husband Bill Purves-Smith. The mill is family owned and operated and has been providing quality woolen and exotic fibre products for over 35 years made using turn-of-the-century industrial revolution machinery.

Custom Woolen Mills produces Canadian grown and manufactured wool, yarns, and wool products. The product line includes bedding, socks, blankets, hand-knit garments, and felted items. All the wool is sourced from farmers in Western Canada and through the Wool Growers co-operative.

Products are available to order online or purchased at the mill shop where you can also have a tour of the mill.
