Argon 18 has been making bikes since 1989. The company was founded by a retired cyclist Gervais Rioux in Montreal. He brought together a team of people to design, test, and build high-end bikes with the goal of offering the best cycling experience to riders and racers of all kinds.
Today, Argon 18 makes bikes for roads, tracks, and trails and distributes them in over 70 countries. Argon 18 bikes are used by many professional athletes including Kelsey Mitchell and Lauriane Genest, both from Canada, who won the gold and bronze medals in track events in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
