The roots of Stanfield’s go back to 1856 when Charles E. Standfield together with his brother-in-law founded the Tryon Woolen Mills in Tryon, Prince Edward Island. He later sold his interest in the mill to his brother-in-law and founded Truro Woolen Mills in Nova Scotia. It was renamed Stanfield Mill in 1872.
Today, Stansfield is an industry leader in its field with a commitment to adapt to provide consumers with what they need and want. This includes introducing new fabrics, styles, and blends and selling the best products at reasonable prices.
