JJ Bean was founded in 1996 as a way for the Neate family, which has been roasting coffee for four generations, to sell their creations. They aim to offer great coffee, welcoming spaces, and amazing service. All of their coffees are roasted daily in small batches, and their coffee is Fair Trade. While they used to offer Certified Organic coffees, they began phasing out these varieties in 2024. 

You can find JJ Bean coffee in retail stores across Canada. You can also visit their coffeehouses, which are located in select Vancouver neighborhoods (Cambie, False Creek, and Fraser to name a few), areas throughout North and Downtown Vancouver, and in Burnaby and the Tri-Cities area.
