Zerro is a Canadian company,  located in Drummondville, QC, that manufactures toothbrushes and accessories. They operate the only toothbrush factory in Canada and their product is a bit different from your typical toothbrush. What is unique about their design is that you can buy their toothbrush handle and head separately. The idea behind their design is that we ordinarily wear out our toothbrush head more rapidly than the handle so it makes good sense to keep using the handle and to simply replace the head.

This concept is great for the environment because you are not throwing out those larger pieces of plastic any more. Zerro has also partnered with TerraCycle to recycle the used toothbrush heads for you. Simply mail the heads to them and they will send them to the TerraCycle. They sell toothbrush heads, handles, toothpaste tablets, biodegradable floss and replacement heads that are Oral-B electric toothbrush compatible.
