Mario’s Gelati was founded in Vancouver, BC in the late 1970s by Mario LoScerbo. The recipe he used was his great-grandfather’s who used to make and sell gelato from a cart in a small rural town in Southern Italy. Like his great-grandfather three generations earlier, Mario uses high-quality ingredients, sourced locally as much as possible.

Today, the selection of gelato products includes traditional sorbettos, frozen yogurts, novelties, Italian ice cream cakes, and single-portion specialties.

Mario’s Gelati has a flatshop store in Olumbic Village, Vancouver. The shop carries 72 rotating scoop flavours and a full line of Mario’s Gelati products.
